hello, guys. I'm a bit confused on getting a new laptop. My budget isn't enough for a gaming one and my fam doesn't support me on gaming, so I'm tryna find myself an "office-work" looking laptop that packs some power enough to run The Finals on stable 60FPS.
I'm seeing a budget of 560 to 660, and what I found to be fitting are Advan Workplus Ryzen 7 7735HS 16GB LPDDR5X 6400MT/s and the other one is Advan "AI-Gen" Ryzen 7 8845HS LPDDR5X.
I rarely see Ryzen 8000 Series being talked anywhere, does the 7000 Series perform so much better than the 8000 Series?

UPS just means uninterruptible power supply, something that won’t be interrupted when the power goes out. There’s no real alternatives to a UPS to keep a computer running, it’s just a battery that will keep your computer running without wall power

good for them... did they say that DDR means double data rate, so it always shows at least half... and that when you use cpu-z under windows, its not always exact, and can show 50-100mhz out... so where i have mine OC'ed to 3800mhz, cpu-z shows 1857mhz... even though hwinfo and many other tools show 1900mhz and DDR4-3800? because if they didnt say something like that, you likely got the wrong answer

overdrive, no matter what monitor it is... overclocks part of the screen... overclocking isnt magic... its the silicon lottery... you might get lucky and its fine at high, you might be unlucky and it artifacts beyond medium

on AOC it attempts to lower the response time of the pixels, so its not about getting more frames per second, its about getting smoother transitions between frames... ie. pixels may take 3ms with it off, 2.5ms at low, 1.5ms at medium and 1ms at high... (no idea of the actual numbers, im just giving an example)

even though its not giving more frames, because the transitions are sharper, movement will seem more fluid, the frames will seem.. more crisp
