the main advantage of a domain is that you can use traefik so you don't have to remember ips and such, also another thing you might want to check out is authentik, very good platform for SSO/2FA

traefik can even intergrate with docker labels to provide a very easy implementation for domain assignment.

So LTT recently put out a video of the worst tech support nightmares and one in particular caught my attention, in the video someone had install an m.2 ssd without an standoff and it was fully flexed, like it was real bad, however it reminded me of my own ssd, about a year ago I bought an m.2 nvme ssd and istalled it in my pc and move my OS over there, then the full year goes by and i bought a second m.2 ssd this time only a sata (it turns out it was the cheapest 1 tb ssd) and I realized I had installed the main ssd in the sata/nvme slot and had to move it into the nvme only slot, it was then when I realized I never put the standoffs for the ssd, the ssd was fine an wasn't flexing like the one in the video, but i don't know it just got me thinking on how scuffed my pc is. (Also the second ssd its screw with an longer m.2 screw i had arround and have missed matched ram)

AMF (AMD's encoders) versus NVENC is usually where the latter is superior... Till Intel's QuickSync comes into the equation, but the only reason why NVENC wins out is because compatibility and quality compression at lower bitrates is better.

For AMF though, if you're using an RDNA3 gpu, you don't have to rely on high bitrate recording as much to improve quality, even if at the cost of using more storage space per video file unlike you had to on RDNA2 gpu. Also, if you use AV1 encoding for streaming and such, you're able to bypass the quality compression shortcoming, as it's really only tied to h.264. H.265 also works out fine as well, albeit with the catch that recording in h.265 is fine, editing in such really depends on the program you use for that.

Also, a bit of a weird issue AMD's long been trying to figure out how to solve was ReLive having issues with AV1 streaming. It's acknowledged a lot in their changelogs per update, but it's a weird thing they've been trying to fix.
