“Technically” you should get a vacuum pump and pump out the propane using the Schrader valves inside the unit if there is any into a bottle which you then take to a recycler. What I say to do is just get a Schrader valve tool, make sure you’re far away from anything, and then take out the Schrader valve making sure not to stand in the path of it because when you use screw it it’ll shoot out like a rocket (on that note make sure you’re unscrewing the low pressure return side not the high pressure side)

Realistically speaking there isn’t enough enough propane in it to where you’ll have to worry about the area around it lighting on fire, (would be far below the lower explosive limit) but I wouldn’t go putting a lighter by the Schrader valve anytime soon

I bought it back in March of 2023 and have been using it as my primary monitor at 60% brightness since (brightness chosen because higher than that is too bright for me). No burn-in over 15 months with around 12-18 hours of use a day. The performance of it is also fantastic. The only flaw were HDR inaccuracy at the start, but that was fixed with a firmware update. Also, about 4 months in I got a line of dead white subpixels. The panel was replaced via warranty.

That’s not what was happening. It was long enough ago that I can’t tell you every fact but I do know they were overheating out of box with minimal loads and they struggled to run any AAA title.
