So I've been reading about how passkeys work. I discovered that when you create a passkey on android or Iphone they are synced with your apple or google account. So this mean they are stored in the cloud and that's basically what other password managers like Bitwarden or 1pass does.
So my question is what is the advantage in using the "local" system provider when you can save passkeys on your third party password manager that works on every platform.

Most of the time, you have to provide both yourself using your own hardware and software.
