Hi everyone, i got a huge problem with my pc, My monitor goes into the Power Sleep Mode while gaming, it can happen as soon as i start the game or it can happen 30 minutes after playing it. if you leave it on constantly, it should hopefully still take a couple years for burn-in to occur. I would think the monitor's management firmware would be trying to do some degree of leveling of the burn-in.

at least set the OS to blank the screen after 2 hours (or less) of inactive use

doing 2 hours should allow for watching a movie without needing to hit something

if you are really trying to get a most out of the monitor's lifespan then be sure to do the following:

• make sure the monitor is connected to a UPS
• use dim-able bulbs and cover the windows so the monitor has to compete with as little other light sources as possible making it more realistic to keep the brightness low
