This discord server was being flooded with people continuously making the same comments over and over again for multiple days in a row after that long-haired host said some things about Linus tech tips. We got tired of it so we just started responding with pictures of bread.

A few times it was literally just multiple hours of people joining and commenting, and I don’t even think they realised or thought to read the discord comments posted before them, because it was basically the same phrasing over and over again it was kind of almost like a bot attack, but these were actual people

I would say that most of these commenter folks are no longer participating in here, or they’re just not posting anything through any of the channels

it should if you follow basic rules. use toggle bolts or other expanding anchers to spread the load on the screws to more area in the wall. don't drill any more holes than you need to. lastly, pop a screw or two into a stud just like ya would with drywall 🙂 but really, unless the TV weighs over 100 pounds, you arent gonna have a problem

yeah i’m using wall anchors for it, and the tv will be mounted flush, not on some pull out bracket or anything. tv is probably 10-15kg

There Aren’t any studs where it’s convenient for the tv to go. There are elsewhere, but it doesn’t work with the layout

i have 1/4 inch(10mm) plywood in my laundry room, and have tool racks mounted to it that weigh at least 35kg 😛 been there for 13 years now with no sag or anything. they each have exactly zero screws into a stud due to how they are mounted/placed

If JTC means JayzTwoCents I don't put much stock in what he says. Benchmarks have been done time and again on the 13700, 12700 etc and there's little to no difference.

You're more likely to see differences once MSFT stops backporting fixes from 11 to 10.

The bigger issue is that you don't know what fixes MSFT is choosing to backport to W10 (eg, is it a fix that's part of a bug filed, or a fix for a bug that's happening as part of active development and won't ever get highlighted for backporting?)

I don't know how many issues I'd fix while also doing feature work that just never were brought up as something to even THINK about backporting. Or we looked at the effort to divorce the fix from the feature work and decided we had better things to do.

The bigger thing will be waiting to see what MSFT has done with W12 really. Last I knew, adoption of W11 was nowhere near where W10 was in the same time frame. So hopefully that means there's been some introspection about why that might be.

yes they work, in R& when i go into settings i can tab out using Alt-tab but when im in the menu or in game i cant and for that reason i cannot "Slow walk" because its my bind

I'd look at other programs running. I think some of these combos should be intercepted by Windows BEFORE the game has a chance to block them.

If I remember the input queues right, stuff like winkey and alt+tab should be handled by the OS and not even sent to the in focus window handle.

I have, like, 7-8 sealed boxed copies of Windows 10. When I built my PC (and everytime I have reinstalled Windows since then) I have used Windows 11. I did it because of the 13900k, but also just to finally trying Windows 11 and what not.

Honestly, in some ways I want to go back to Windows 10 like on my gaming laptop, but idk. It's end of life is coming up fast, I think I am just sticking to Windows 11. Windows 12 will be out soon very soon, too. Hopefully it is much better received than Windows 11.
