YT needs to fix their platform. Today, it's YT shoving ads in, then creators plugging whatever VPN, metal wallet or coffee company gave them money throughout the video as well....and then probably also telling you all about their Patreon too.

If you want me to watch ads, then you need to change the platform. If your video has ads attached to it by YT, you can't puts overt ads into the video (eg, telling me all about your Yeti tumbler vs sipping and not commenting on the fact you have a shiny Yeti tumbler in your video). Overt ad vs product placement.
