This makes me wonder... Usually I use Bluetooth to connect my controller to my PC, but everytime I turn either Bluetooth on or the controller on I have to unpair the controller and then pair it again. Is this also an issue with the Xbox dongle?

When I first got my Xbox dongle (which was like 5-6 years ago) I had zero issues but it got to a point of being basically unusable with disconnecting or just not connecting at all but Microsoft did bring out a newer version of the dongle that comes with certain controller so I can’t speak on those

Yeah. I’ve seen them in stores bundled with the dongle, they were like 10-20 dollars more than ones without it

From my experience using the dongle does work better when it comes to latency depending on the Bluetooth version that’s in your pc because it uses the 2.4ghz signal just like the console

But if you have a Bluetooth dongle that supports 5.0 and above you shouldn’t notice a difference

As for the issues you have with the Bluetooth. When you’re done using your controller. Disconnect it from the Bluetooth settings when you’re done. Should allow it to connect right away when you’re ready to use it again
