I have the Acer Predator Helios 300, an older model. I'm a freelance Game Developer too! I've had zero complaints with it, however, if you plan to use Unreal Engine, make sure the CPU is at least an i7. I have an i5 CPU, but for the software I work with, it does the job perfectly.

If you are planning to make lightweight games using Godot, I think it's a good choice.

Make sure the CPU is very good because 2D games don't require a lot of GPU power, but a good CPU will compile the code you write in the engine faster which will save you a lot of time during development

Like I said, make sure it's at least an i7 or the Ryzen equivalent. Really read into Intel and AMD's CPU classifications and what the letters in a CPU model number mean.

Your question about FPS indicates to me that you're still a beginner! It's not about that, whenever you write code for anything in your game, like a new type of gun, or changing the amount of coins a character gets after killing an enemy, you have to compile your code so that the game engine can compute the new changes. So, the next time you test your game within the engine, you can see the changes reflected.

What a faster CPU will do is reduce the amount of time the game engine takes to update your changes. A slower CPU will increase this time, which is fine when you're starting out, but once you're working professionally, it would be better to get a faster CPU since it saves you a lot of time.

lots of rust on that iron core. probably was waterlogged at some point. check the wires for continuity from plug to solder joints.
Though I suggest disposing of it since one break in the primary will short line voltage to the core and/or output. not safe.

a TA6618350T supply just seems to be a 18v 3A 60W AC (but some aftermarket DC) supply. as long as you confirm that is the correct power supply for your speaker, matching it would be fine.

but i would look for a forum post on the internet with people that have your exact model/series of speaker to see what they do. i dont think youll find anyone here who has those speakers.

Same as software, the first year of any hardware iteration is more plagued than those of the second years onwards since they've had time to catch any manufacturing irregularities while refining the manufacturing process.
