But, took a while like most to learn my way through tech in all its areas, making many many mistakes before gaining confidence in predictability patterns to know how to navigate it properly. Now driving, vehicle laws, world of anything motor functions (fuck that).

We're people into tech, as in nerds who learned to handle it and do it because we enjoy it.
Very few people ever have to interact with anything inside a computer that isn't software, and even there most don't touch anything underlying their systems in fear of breaking something because if they do, they won't know how to fix it and where to look, let alone trust themselves to figure out how to fix it themselves, especially if they need it later or can't afford a replacement.
We do it frequently or enough to know what we're doing (or be considered capable of such by the vast majority) so in our case, we "make it look easy".

Also, some people legitimately just don't know how to not manhandle their components in ways that they should never do to them. My brother is an example, all throughout troubleshooting his system I built for him and even when he tried upgrading his cpu cooler himself, coming to me early in the morning to read a manual he claimed he couldn't understand.

Yep, poor Linus I know must be tired of the people of the webs joking about him dropping components the way that he does. I'm delicate with literally everything even if its not tech related, (I get yelled at gentle shutting of car doors, I just am not rough with anything). But, that's a tech tip newbies just need prepping connector clips, listening for simple "clicks" sound aspect of knowing that yep its in visually and clicks in properly. Knowing about RAM training helps too (to reduce freaking out with first boot rebooting 2-3 times before bios finally shows).

I recall fondly helping our computer teacher way back when with fixing computers, where annoying students out of boredom, unplugged things constantly and I was like gaining experience by happenstance and was like "bing bang boom they screwed this cable too, voila all fixed".

What Riverance noted is the likely possibility. Different WiFi chipsets support different capabilities and have different antenna configurations. For example, I've seen $1500 CAD "gaming" laptops with a 1x1 WiFi 5 config with terrible WiFi performance, meanwhile some $950 CAD "business" laptop's 2x2 WiFi 6 chipset experiences awesome WiFi performance.

If I'm reading the specifications correctly, this is the WiFi chipset that comes with that motherboard. A 1x1 WiFi 5 chipset (from 2016, at that) has its' limitations.

If multiple other devices (probably either newer or have better WiFi chipsets) perform better, welp, you've found the culprit is likely your motherboard's on-board WiFi.

You only need better if you find the current WiFi performance lacking for your needs.

Example: we have Gigabit internet here, but due to my kludgey network setup (shhh it's fine, everything is fine) most wired devices are limited to between 200-350 mbps. Could I fix the network? Sure, I could. But do I need to? Nah, not really for single device speeds.
