usually there's only three reasons a drive wont show up. 1. the drive isn't physically installed correctly somehow(check by reseating the cables while the computer is off and then turn it back on) 2. the drive isn't formatted in a file system windows knows how to see, or 3. the drive is dead

and uhh, for those who are about to pedant, yes, reseat the drive if it's NVME instead of cables

Well theres prediction and after that only compensation. Prediction only works when you have fairly accurate data already on some derivative of what youre predicting. So like position of other player because you already have its first derivative which is velocity. Its the rate of change of that position. So you get sent their ping, the position once a while and their velocity vectors as well. On your end, you know that they are roughly ahead by whatever distance travelled over the ping delay time.

Then gaben and the other og valve programmers added their own modifications to it. Actually nobody even plays on original q1 or 2 engine today. Definitely source ports like r1q2 or q2pro. Quake 1 the most popular is still quake world i think. For 1 the source ports popular are case by case. Even on steam if you buy quake 1 today, it comes with a few different binaries and steam launches a selection window when you click from library. You likely cant even run the original file on win 10 lol

I mean there's always an upside. Imagine 2000s satellite internet close to arctic circle. All gaming impossible because ping is above 1000ms. A whole second of it. Even speed chess in Li probably unplayable because you're missing 1/3rd of your turn. This was the internet you finally got recently and before that, you had no way to connect outside of city. Idk how phones worked but dialup was impossible. I think phone line trunk may have also been satellite somehow. Outside of that I can only think of longwave in the spectrum where you do that HAM thing and catch China from Europe at certain part of day. ISS is heard once in a while as it becomes within line of sight.

It's always very warm or even hot to the touch after you leave it on for half our or so. Adds a flaming failure point no? Bulb doesn't. Filament burns out and it. No explosion of glass and harmful(?) shite either. Energy it saves is quite nice but honestly 60W bulb with right temp is bright enough usually. When you turn it off unless using it, the energy bill hit is nothing compared to HVAC, fridge and washing machines.

Unless I'm crazy and LED bulbs aren't dangerous at all in that sense.

The LED is def colder. The rectifier idk but I think a 60W I touch is hot only after multiple hours of being on. LED it gets hot under hour. When it's hottest maybe a bulb is higher temp but idk. incandescents actually have multiple fail conditions. but for the most part it is a disconnect in the conductor. that said it has the very deadliest fail condition of any bulb style. when the casing is damaged you have exposed mains voltage.

this is both a lethal shock hazard and a fire hazard.

Gets hot faster? As in reaches a temp faster? In terms of actual heat it has, I'm not sure tbh. I mean CPU is like 100C all core load benchmark but it's a tiny tiny junction that youre measuring. On the other hand, a lot of it is somewhere around that temp. It's small enouugh to the point where IHS to sink immediately cools it down like 80C drop in a second or some sht after when you stop benching. well, on the genesis at least they used some sort of scan coding using pins that werent assigned specifically to cartridges

apparently those pins may have been assigned on the 32x, but didn;t pass thru to the genesis, so the game genei didn't work right with 32x games, but still worked on some genesis games when passed thru the 32x 😛

Well yeah you have to use m.2 slot for sata ssd so prioritize that. Then as many as you can into mobo sata slot. Then get remainder you need of sata on card. But probably use the slowest pcie slot you have. Also 3 ssds not sure but if they're sata probably better if they're all regular sata connector. Not sure how more than 1 m.2 will work. Gotta see diagram of your mobo
