It's not that it wasn't useful, it was just too buggy. Move a page around, delete a page, it turns solid white until you save the PDF, close the program, reopen it...and other things like that.

Much MUCH cheaper than Acrobat Pro. But it certainly is rough to use effectively for work.

yes - basically because I have water cooling, and because the intake fans are limited by rads, I have the main fan cycles driven by the cpu/gpu temps, but I also have a motherboard curve, because it's an X570. Also the chipset fan is horrifically loud at high rpm, so I run the exhaust fans with an override if the motherboard gets hot (which is also basically a proxy for the general case temp)

Do you have plans to do anything with it? Yeah I had to look a GPU up like that once, I ordered an EVGA 3090 from Amazon themselves open box, kind of expecting the risk. When it got delivered it an HP OEM 1660 Super inside. Talked to the text chat support, told them what happened, and got a refund. Didn't even have to send it back. I gave it to my sister/her husband because they could really use a better GPU. At least I got a cool 3090 box that's sitting next to my 3090 ti box. (BTW the 3090 ti box is fucking massive. The 3090 box is the same size as other GPU boxes from the generation, the 3090ti box is like almost twice as wide for some reason).

Nvidia does make their own cards, hence the founders edition. That is one of the many reasons why EVGA left and one of many pieces of bullshit coming from Nvidia. There's a reason the founders edition cards are always cheaper than the ones from their AIB partners. A decade ago when Nvidia made their first founder's edition card they claimed they were just a "limited edition" thing, and they weren't supposed to compete with their AIB partners. Everyone rightfully saw through their bullshit. Now they heavily charge their AIB partners, severely limit what they can actually do with the card (no more dual GPU or extra VRAM), and they always ensure their founders edition cards are cheaper than their AIB partners. That is the reason why I absolutely refused to buy founder's edition, regardless if they are cheaper or not. What Nvidia is doing is building up their production capabilities until they no longer need their AIB partners. Again, absolutely fuck Nvidia. I am so done with them. EVGA was the final straw.

I do want to make it clear that Nvidia has more than enough resources to fix these issues on Linux, but I do want to point out the fact that Linux is really tricky for developers (again not an excuse for Nvidia). Despite the fact that development is heavily done on Linux, most developers don't want to bother coding their project for Linux-GNU. It's already tricky because of all the distros, but a bigger problem is the fact that such a tiny amount of their user-base comes from Linux, but most bug tickets for things like games come from Linux users. It's a real problem, and it is unfortunate. I am getting really sick of some of the bullshit Microsoft/Windows pulling (despite being a big defender of Windows in the past), so I would like Linux to grow more popular to have a decent competitor to Windows, I don't know man, we will see what happens. Yeah, I am happy that gaming is starting to become a lot better on Linux though. I want to try Linux for other reasons, but if gaming starts becoming bigger and bigger on Linux, especially if Microsoft keeps moving the direction they are with Windows (like needing a Microsoft account and all the other bullshit) I may actually try to switch to Linux for my main system, and then only use Windows for things I absolutely need to. I also really hope Mac starts appealing to gamers again. Hell yeah. I am not going to lie, I use to be an Intel fan, and while I still like them, I have really warmed up to AMD. I think the biggest reason I liked Intel so much more is for two reasons: 1: As a kid they were the CPU brand for me, I didn't even know AMD's name. 2: When I originally wanted to get into PC's and started doing research years ago, AMD was still in a bit of a slump, so when I was doing research I was hearing that Intel is better, so that stuck with me until recently when I finally cracked the hardware ceiling and learned a lot about tech. I do have a i9 13900k in my build. However, I am most likely going to with Ryzen next time I build a PC. I really don't like the fact that Intel changes their socket so frequently. It will be awhile, but unless something big changes my plans are to switch to AMD for my CPU.

The cheapest real phone you can get from Apple is 600 dollars. (Without counting the iPhone SE, which is not a phone I would use at least)
