do i really have to repeat them?
1: System RAM doesn't need to be shared so you get to use all your RAM for anything other than loading graphics data
2: its own set VRAM ensures the iGPU can perform at a reasonable performance consistently on multiple models and versions of machines, (Shit/slow RAM wont hurt Graphics performance etc.)
3:its a part of the plan of getting Cheaper, Longer lasting gaming laptops that will become a hit with people who care about gaming on the go. not to mention other usecases this would have in other devices like a standalone PCVR Headset or something as much. AMD is crazy enough to go places where others wont and Pioneer what others wont or were to slow to release, (look at how they took x86 to 64 bit, got to Dual core first, Clocked to 1GHz first and they released a GPU with HBM)

The 4090's performance can also be attributed to it's higher efficiency, since you can even undervolt or underclock it and it will still yield a relatively higher performance than anything under it at stock right now, save for the 7900XTX which is very close much like what Fionya noted.

dusky jacinth
#

On that note of RIFE being worse than DAIN, I actually agree with you on that, since I know basically what it tries to do with it's interpolating process.

#

DAIN basically does it like a standard interpolation algorithm like we've seen with tvs for years: it sees the key frames and it then tries to blend them, drawing an inbetween (or trying to) that transitions more smoothly to the next.

The graphics are mediocre compared to others, the dialogues are just weird, the performance is crap (7900XT, 1080p), the story makes less and less sense as it progresses, and it’s just. So. Repetitive.
