My best guess is the heatskin isn't making good contact in one corner such that when you have workloads that use all 6 cores, the core in that corner is shooting up the temp

however, only 2 minute bursts may just be a result of the type of workload

then it may just be the workload manage to get it to reach thermal throttling for 2 minutes

which once in a while might be fine

it is up to you if you want to switch to something beyond the stock heatsink to try to avoid thermal throttling more
