nah they are a bit different tbh, depends on the specific model/platform, but in most cases igpus are like basically an afterthought, or they are just there because it's cheaper/easier than having people buy a discreet gpu for their machine when they don't need it

so its something to have the monitor plugged into so it'll work more or less

apus like the chips that are in the steam deck, and amd apus that they put into laptops for example are more balanced, the gpu cores in them are much more powerful than the gpu capabilities you have in an intel chip with onboard graphics

depends on device. you can ultimately design anything you really want to, the discreet gpu that you have in your pc tower for example, the actual chip that does the processing is quite small, 85%+ of the device is dedicated mostly to cooling and connectivity

like the apple M series chips they have on their machines, they're not the best for gaming obviously but they're really good at video encoding/transcoding, pretty good at different AI stuff with the neural engine

yeah, the gaming on some of the apple chips is actually not that bad, all things considered. obviously not as good as on pc or windows laptop with a discreet mobile gpu, but there's a guy on youtube who does some great videos about gaming specifically on those chips...last i had looked into it he was playing GTA V at like 60 fps steadily on pretty good settings, similar games to that too
