I come from neither really, but imo, mechanics would refer to doing something in game, not how well you can understand what you see on the screen in front of you. After all, you can see someones head and know you need to shoot the head, but without the mechanics to actually shoot accuratly then you can't. So in that sense, I would see them as separate skills

ARM and x86 are a set of instructions a cpu supports. The specific instructions don’t matter and most of them have similar instructions.

The instructions it supports therefore does not mean a ton, what matters more is the cpu arch like zen or arm cortex A55.

you know you don't have to eject drives right? People say it does damage them but I have been doing it for years no issue. So long as you are not actively copying data then said data being copied over is corrupted, that's a given
