well that's the thing, i didn't get it for gaming; i didn't expect it to, and it failed to even meet my low expectations, but... that didn't really change much with my experience

i got it because it had the best balance of power, efficiency, and portability of any laptop; plus it plays nice with my ipad, and it doesn't bake me alive in my room the way my desktop does when i'm just chilling and watching youtube videos while keeping an eye on discord

and yes, that power can't really be used to game, but it still rips in video editing, which i value a lot

and i gotta say... despite its workflow idiosyncrasies and its lack of customization compared to windows and especially linux, macOS is fuckin nice

you might get away with a 6800, a 6800 draws 250 watts alone, unless you can get a more capable PSU i personally wouldn't go for a 6800. its better to have a higher wattage PSU even if you don't really need it so its less stressed. but if you are fine flying closer to the sun then pull the trigger on the 6800. if you don't have the ability to get a higher wattage PSU then just go for a 6700XT
