Pathtracing is game changing to me. The jump of quality is huuuuuuge. There were some lame publications like Gamer Nexus that showed the best raytraced screens compared to pathtraced ones. Obviously a scene that already is great will not look so different, but compare the worst RT scenes with pathtracing and the difference is a generational leap IMO.
