a) 50mb of data might as well be nothing. b) why offline, c) at that size you could literally copy it onto a zip disk, an IDE hard drive, an ancient USB key, an old MFM hard drive, a SATA hard drive, a SATA SSD, an nvme SSD, and sit them all next to each other.

Data you have one copy of is data you don't have.

Properly redundant data is hardware redundant on site, and also stored offsite.

If you're concerned about access - that's easy, encrypt the backup first.

Tax data for clients, contracts of sale for properties, this data is not needed unless the hot backup (in the cloud) is compromised, the cold backup of a USB storage drive is corrupt/damaged by time delayed ransom-where (yep it happened to them) OR there is a claim of the data being modified post sale/tax submission, the storage is specifically encrypted and burnt onto single write optical disks with the whole disk written out so you can't modify the data on a per contract basis then stored offsite in a "store, then destroy unless recalled" environment. I.e. it's the off site cold store.

i love how fireworks are banned in a lot of places in the usa, yet my corner shop is allowed to sell them, or, i can buy them from ebay, or i can buy them from the guy in the street... anybody can buy them, and anybody can sell them, and its just ok

the uk is setup for its average temp of around 19c, when it hits 40c, thats abnormal, and the country isnt set up for the 2-3 times per decade that it happens, for the 2-3 days it happens on those times

When I was working retail my county upped the age for firework sales from 16 to 18 and I had so much fun denying teenagers fireworks

i live next to a area that catches fire once every 2-3 summers... fireworks get set off there all the time too, hasnt caught fire... it usually catches fire when some inconsiderate anus just tips their disposable bbq onto the ground
