You should be careful tmrw when you're inserting cpu. I'd at least turn off psu itself with switch. Better yet, i'd disconnect the atx and cpu connectors

If gpu is in, it might be connected immediately as soon as you put cpu into socket. Same w ram.

Also why did you assemble case and mobo if youre still gonna be seating cpu to socket? Can you even do it now? There has to be access in the back and front

Because you're supposed to put cpu in then mount cooler always together. I wouldn't do any more tests in between. Again, you might be able to, but it's definitely not recommended. Same with posting on purpose with no cpu tbh. Your fans might stay at 100% after post fail and it gives error code. Still, why test this? It's fans at max power because mobo didn't control them yet

Heat sink sometimes is enough with 4 smooth sides and as long as it has enough capacity, it still radiates faster than whatever is heating. But without sink the heat simply has nowhere to go. The spreader can make it even between three chips

Ultimately its the chips themselves that are radiator and sink. Maybe sticker is radiator because its the part facing air

On the other hand theres also the temps you get inside the actual chip. That doesnt usually change as much as youd think even though you made the chips surface less hot or something

The heat is too much in too tiny of a place. The sink still helps but the temps still hawtt

And those temps like drop and go back up like Mg flashbang depending on load. I kinda hate that honestly.

CPU oc scales up those spikes when things are loading. So 50c spikes to 65+

And temp either reaches 100C or it doesnt full load. It must stop at some point before 100 at full fan speed. If not, it hits 100C and its bad thermals. I consider not OCable

it's like 20 bucks for a good 1kg roll of pla which is the easiest filament to print with
