I trust AMD more because I understand Intel's performance really stagnated in the late 2010s, even with their multicore systems. With AMD, I can have most of my core power at the fraction of the power and the price. Plus, it's x86 based.

There's no doubt ARM chips and its derivatives are one of the most power efficient of them all. First made for the Acorn Proton, the ARM's efficiency was created by accident. And they put that to good advantage.

When computers stopped needing them, they decided to use it in low powered equipment, especially mobile phones. And that thing has been powering everything that isn't a PC since.

The only thing you gain with arc over a intel igpu with quicksync is AV1 encoding and a lot of platforms dont support it or dont have hardware decoders for it guzzling power.
