I was looking at the Acer Aspire 5, but Acers are known to be fragile. Then I looked at the HP Victus 15 and Dell G15, but they are both over 2kg. I checked the Gigabyte laptop, as it seemed to be light. But it was expensive, and not everybody likes it anyway.

@stoic beacon Thanks for letting me know how garbage the V series was anyway. It couldn't upgrade Windows 10, the battery life got shorter and shorter, and it slowed down. Not to mention, it came with 4GB soldered on and 115GB memory. And the worst part? It was part of my DSA.

Hopefully. I just replaced my Dell XPS 15 9560 with a Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 because the XPS was going on 6 years old and I finally wanted a 360 degree touch screen form factor. We'll see how it holds up over the next 3-5 years.

Those, Framework, and MacBook Pro are the only three that I would recommend to anybody...ThinkPad and Framework are the only two I would use myself.

Had too many issues with Dell, HP, and Acer over the years, whether they were my computers, coworkers, family members, etc.

This is part of the reason I tell people who don't have Windows exclusive programs to get MacBook Pros. The consistency is huge, and they can't screw up. If I recommend a T14 to somebody, they'll go look at the price, then they'll see a $250 Ideapad and somehow in their brains, they go, "Yeah, that's probably the same thing." Then they're angry that it's garbage.

I understand not everybody likes HP as a company, but it's the closest laptop to my needs, and it's not an Acer.

I came accross the HP ProBook 455 G9. With three USB A ports, 1 USB C port, an HDMI port and an Ethernet port. It only has 512GB of storage, but 16GB of upgradable RAM.

Not as much storage as I want, but at least it weighs 1.74kg. So next to the Aspire, I'd say that's more like it!
