Longer battery life, as fast charging is bad for that

Yes if the phone explicitly supports slower charging modes. Then there's probably a net positive benefit rather than loss if you use a charger which exactly fits one of the slower charging modes the phone can do.

Idk about disabling fast charge. Usually you use a brick which is for one of the slow(er) charging modes

steep girder
#

So for instance new Samsungs now have at least two fast charging modes. The second fastest one was at one point the top one in previous models. Then there's that default 5V 2A minimum or something. But the fast charging is higher voltages DC output

#

Amps you don't care about as long as it's enough. If your brick is giving off anything below how much current it pulls, it's probably worse for phone

mint yacht
#

Emily is her name now. Anthony is their old name

steep girder
#

Disabling fast charge software idk. It should be possible because a phone can just set the voltage regulators to step down but that's sub-optimal probably

#

Then there's also specific chargers which change their own output depending on what the phone negotiates at connection

I was thinking of setting up the routine thing on Bixby so slow charging gets enabled at like.. 10PM or something

Which is the same thing as regulating voltage in phone but ideally you want to have that happen inside charger. The charger gets hotter not the hardware in phone

steep girder
mint yacht
#

Yeah, my bad for wording it like that

steep girder
#

Well lol that's my whole question. Knowing the kind of person Emily is in terms of character, is it even expected to walk around eggshells so much? Misgendering/misnaming/misidentifying somebody is only bad in the end if it hurts the person in question's feelings.

If somebody is truly confused about wtf is going on and somebody has to clue them in lol

fossil frost
steep girder
#

I think it's more beneficial to explicitly say that Anthony and Emily are the same person it's just that they feel inside as a she and finally decided to make it known publicly that they prefer to be identified as she now with the name Emily. I see no harm in that. I personally have no problem with this. If somebody says they feel a certain way on the inside and prefer to be identified a certain way, I wouldn't deny them that

rough birch
#

I did put 🏳️‍⚧️ on the message so I may be faulted for that

fossil frost

But like misgendering on accident or tripping up by some technicality when trying to discuss the fact itself...
Do you think Emily the kind of person to take serious offence to that and expect everybody to just instantaneously get used to this news coming to light?

fossil frost
rough birch
steep girder
#

That's like expecting somebody to become less understanding or more demanding and selfish in character just because they transitioned or revealed new gender identity lol. Anthony seemed like a cool guy from what I'd seen. I don't see a reason why Emily wouldn't be just as cool, fun and Linux loving lmao

rough birch
#

Isn't the "original" image an emoji somewhere?

#

Cause I like the original, if those posts are true

steep girder
#

Idk but that's not exactly a bad word. If you're flying the version they used proudly or cheering it on as a good thing in that context, then yeah, it's evil and racist. Very inconsiderate of the people you're doing it before given that some of them might still be children or grandchildren of those affected by atrocities

#

The original non-ww2 fascist ones are also generally called swastikas. It's just the name of the symbol shape basically

fossil frost
#

the symbol its self, in the correct orientation, is an ancient religious symbol with many different meanings (usually a similar meaning to the cross in christianity), the german fascist party rotated it 45 degrees and appropriated it and made its meaning to be what they wanted it to be... it still used today in its correct orientation as a religious symbol

steep girder
#

But search up even on like wikipedia Olympics and other international sports during WW2. That was Germany's official flag one way or another. Evil as it was sadly. They were still welcomed in the world of sports for the sake of good sportsmanship.

Tbh since they were so racist and supremacist as they claimed... they had a chance to prove it in fair competitions lol. It was good that everybody welcomed them. There was a point in time when US showed them just how wrong and pathetic their whole ideal was lol

fossil frost
steep girder
#

Or doesn't. Whichever country is hosting does the rest because it's their stadiums, everything else. They are hosting so they have to set it up. Were the Olympics ever hosted in Germany during ww2?

#

steep girder
#

I don't get why things like the party name are censored tbh. Imo it's actually beneficial to talk about it and you can use the word in a non-offensive context. It could be not only more offensive but physically detrimental to just ban any mention of it because to this day people have no clue about what truly the evil was and what all those other things surrounding it mean historically

fossil frost
true kayak
#

Am i just stupid or was there never a part 2 of the gaming Minivan?

steep girder
#

Like the N- party name is actually just an acronym for socialist party basically in German. But the key thing to consider is how that name (especially the socialism) were incredibly misrepresentative of what truly the party's intentions were... intentions that sadly got to be actualized and carried out

#

I mean as always, the socialism technically could be justified to have existed... at least on paper maybe. But it's a corrupt and very broken one at best. Also, again, there was a secret ulterior motive which definitely didn't intend to benefit the 'society' lol

#

Then there's nationalism which yeah it was hella nationalist. Both economically and the other ways. To this day people conflate economic nationalism with 'racism' or 'fascism' or 'x race supremacy'. Economic nationalism is nothing more than government valuing its own well being before everyone else's in international trade idk

#

Economic nationalism simply makes sense for whichever nation you're living in. It means your own elected government represents interests in your well being. The Germans in WW2 went really hard at it and demonstrated how as always it really booms the economy of country. Having said that, this was separate from why they needed the sudden boom. They used the really fast manufacturing of machines and such for one of the most evil acts committed in human history. This is where the bad socialism comes in too because 'everybody in our society' was building the economy but the 'benefit for society' immediately redefined society to just like one party in government's interest. Outside of that, all it meant was serious damage to everyone else in the world

Well my whole point is there shouldn't be anything up for discussion in terms of ideologies pertaining to that ww2 stuff. It's simply a monstrous ideology which not only shouldn't be acceptable, but it should be condemned as the pure evil it was (demonstrated in actual history)

But this specifically because everybody gives a sht when it comes to this. WW2 wasn't politics. It was a dangerous half-truth which a delirious nut had paranoid or hateful deeply rooted mental issues believed to be a conspiracy by a serious percentage of the entire Earth's population. Then it was presented as politics to everybody. Sadly they believed it because it coincided with a few other things by happenstance. Well tech rant: picture buying GPU but it gets deactivated remotely by manufacturer because your credit card payment accidentally got declined for monthly service subscription.

You were sold a GPU as minimally some expansion card which is a U that P's G. You own the product and yet later on you were prevented from using it in that sense because you're required to make payments for a service you didn't want in the first place

#

Now picture not only did that happen but you weren't even made aware of in any way upon purchasing that product about this service subscription and what its implications are...

molten tartan
steep girder
#

But finally, picture it clearly being illegal and worthy of at least a refund due to laws in your state because there is a law which gives consumer some warranty that at least product works as advertised out of box... fair right?

Then somebody comes along and claims that you purchasing this product somehow doesn't give you full autonomy as an owner of said product and they still have certain rights to do stuff to it

steep girder

Like in a lot of cases, if you buy some physical good which is not whole, 'broken' or simply not what exactly it's supposed to be in any sense. So first of all, it's important to have a real scientific definition of these things if you want to use them for legislative definitions. Not whole and broken are simply 'not the product as exactly advertised' to you. It's simple.

Tl;dr it's only considered an exchange agreed upon by both parties if they both not only consent to giving/receiving whatever it is but the exchange in question was exactly of those things they agreed upon

#

Another way to look at it is if you and I were to agree that I sell 3 of my fresh chicken eggs to you for 5 CAD but you paid me 5 CAD and I secretly gave you 3 rotten goose eggs

steep girder

This could also be looked at as a completely different exchange which both parties didn't agree upon

Which means I essentially stole 5 bucks Canadian from you. However, therein lies another important thing. You gave me the fiver 'yourself' voluntarily and I didn't lift it from you or forcefully take it. That somehow makes it different and we have other names for it like fraud or scamming. It seems to make perfect sense intuitively to everyone. But why is me taking something without your knowledge or forcing it out of your hands different from you handing me it under circumstances different from the terms you agreed upon

lucid echo
#

Terms & Conditions exist for a reason

#

If the seller didn’t define the T&C clearly, it’s on them. If the buyer didn’t read T&C/research a summary of T&C, it’s on them.

#

If a GPU is subscription-based then that would be laid out in the T&C

rough birch
#

Google Stadia basically?

#

Eh, there's also Colab.

steep girder
lucid echo
#

I dunno but i’m certain you’ll provide me a paragraph explaining it.

steep girder
#

The very same parties who agree to terms and conditions can comply or break them.

lucid echo
#

That sounds like something for the courts to settle, then

broken folio
steep girder
#

Which makes the compliance existential in the same exact way and to the same extent as the parties agreeing

lucid echo
#

That’s how all laws and contracts work, dude

#

Laws against theft don’t physically prevent me from breaking into a house and stealing a TV

steep girder
broken folio
#

Indeed, goods have to be labelled correctly or companies will get flooded with returns.

steep girder
#

After that, you might only have not been reasonably diligent enough and misinterpreted/misread/ignored something. Having said that, there is an exact finite amount of things which you are made aware of before agreeing to the exchange

lucid echo
#

That is how modern commerce works, yes

#

Welcome to hell!

steep girder
#

The person selling you a thing can lie through omission ultimately. That's exactly what happens when they brick your printer because you didn't pay for service not mentioned at all

lucid echo
#

That's exactly what happens when they brick your printer because you didn't pay for service not mentioned at all
No, those things are explicitly defined in the T&C
Don't lie just to fit your philosophical narrative

steep girder
#

But if you think about it carefully, what that's saying is there is a service you must rent upon which this product functioning as advertised (at all) is predicated

lucid echo
#

If HP didn't lay all that out in T&C there would be a class action suit against them in an instant, don't fool yourself

#

There's no ambiguity here

steep girder
#

So they're really not telling you that you're buying a printer-shaped brick which doesn't work at all + as a bonus it has the rest of your expected functionality but only as long as you pay subscription.

lucid echo
#

They are explicitly telling you that in the T&C

#

That's why T&C exists. They're not lying, they're just relying on you to not read them

#

This isn't secret or elusive or existential

steep girder
#

Ok well first of all T&C don't change anything retroactively for sure. You're obviously suggesting that you agreed after the purchase (mutually consented exchange) was made

lucid echo
#

Any subscription you subscribe to comes with a T&C, no company is dumb enough to do otherwise

steep girder
#

But most importantly, the whole idea is that there can be no terms or conditions for owning something. You're not licensed to use it. You own the damn thing. Lol

lucid echo
#

That would be nice, wouldn't it?

#

Companies go to great lengths to make these conditions very explicit, otherwise they'd be sued out of business. You setup a subscription to pay. That sub comes with T&C which you must agree to. It's very simple

#

If the thing is inoperable without a subscription, the box will say that

#

There's no implication or ambiguity here, just loads of legal jargon they expect you to ignore

steep girder
#

You're not getting it. Not only were you not aware about this service and its implications with regards to your printer's basic functionality (lol)... we're talking about something before that: when you bought a physical printer

lucid echo
#

You're just making up a story dude, what is there to get or not get

#

Show me a real-life printer that completely hides the fact you need a subscription for it to work. Otherwise you're just making shit up to spin a narrative.

#

Otherwise, I'm out, have fun with your philosophy essays

steep girder
#

There is that exact thing you're missing not to get. It's easy to overlook but insanely important to understand: you bought physical hardware first which is CONSIDERED NOT DEFECTIVE IF IT PERFORMS CERTAIN FUNCTIONS. Those very same legislations like mentioned in the UK are defined through that exact same thing. the subscription is separate from your purchase and turns out to be a service of those exact same functionalities and features you bought as the WORKING PRINTER. The service you subscribe to is basically to keep your product from breaking in the warranty sense.

tardy terrace
#

LOUD NOISES

lucid echo
#

I too can redefine and misinterpret legal terms to fit my narrative

steep girder
#

So you can interpret this in perhaps only two ways. Either they are trespassing on property which is already yours because you bought it. They are already threatening to do so when presenting you with the service subscription 'option'. Essentially subscribe to our service or we will break your printer. An alternative way is perhaps that you allow this to happen... only it's already returnable and they already owe you a refund.

#

Because you bought not a printer that prints but a printer that prints as long as you pay for a service subscription.

lucid echo
#

You're so right dude, I agree with you completely

steep girder
#

Well I mean in practice I think already it's literally just ordinary box with HP printer inside

vapid smelt
steep girder
#

They list all of the features. It prints in color with ink, etc, etc. But nowhere does it say that all of those features work until we brick them if you stop paying for service. If that's the case in practice, you'd already purchased a different product than what you were led to believe

#

If they say that there is minimall a service subscription you can separately pay for which enables exactly all of the functions they brick if your credit declines, then it's fair game.

lucid echo
#

But nowhere does it say that all of those features work until we brick them if you stop paying for service
You're either wrong or lying, because they explicitly say that. I'm looking at a product page right now
"HP+ printer: This is an HP+ printer. It requires an HP account, connection to the internet, and exclusive use of Original HP Toner Cartridges for the life of the printer. More at: hp.com/plus-faq. "
They go on to describe the "life" of the printer in their FAQ

steep girder
#

They don't even have to give you the terms or details for it. Minimally identify the service by name and you now start to have ways to say the consumer is responsible for researching the product. In this case another separate service but it's still responsibility because on box it clearly says the product as is is defined in some part through this service subscription

lucid echo
#

The thing you say they're "omitting" is blatantly on the product page several times, and is detailed in multiple FAQs. It's a shitty practice, but they're covering their tracks

#

There is no way in hell they straight-up don't tell you anything about it. That's just ridiculous

tardy terrace
#

OHHH this is SO GOOD

#

omg her little noisesssss

steep girder
#

Well yeah but the real doozy is that omitting might actually be describing something else because a feature of printing and scanning unconditionally is different than a feature of printing and scanning sometimes depending on separate product or service

lucid echo
#

They tell you up front dude, a basic search will tell you this

#

I'm out, this was fun waveboye

steep girder
#

But service is the especially problematic one because it's something another person provides to you. So they're providing you access to your own device's functionality. A physical product naturally is hard to abuse because you buy it as well and nobody provides access to or licenses use.

I mean PSU can always blow up on its own or overheat due to user error or some other factors. But the thing with shroud in most regular mid towers and such is that it's literally pointless. All it can do is guaranteed add heat and if not blow up house still cause more wear to PSU over time

lean shard
# vapid smelt no you will get muted or banned if you ping them in here

ya I wasn't literally going to do so, hence the quotes. Just a figure of speech. It's regarding the company Dough (formerly Eve) that I'm sure you've heard of. They're selling (yet another) new product that's nowhere near ready. Still huge numbers of backlogged orders for older products. And the latest news is their discord server was unceremoniously deleted - no mention why, but I suspect it's for PR related reasons.

#

But thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

steep girder
patent dagger
#

Holy shit found it

steep girder
#

There's the cable management thing because shroud lets you have mounting plate for atx board to be a compartment of its own

#

But your question of whether or not to hide everything from mainboard (which does allow cable routing 'behind' the entire thing) is loaded

#

Because you're implying that you also have hdd bay shrouded

#

At least justify to me how hdd bay is any less ugly than PSU being visible lol. HDD to be honest to this day is one of the few things that doesn't come with RGB led in any color other than that classic PCB green. Literally always green + metallic color scheme always. You can always diy rgb on hard drive but you can't hide its ugly bare ass

south stone
#

Imean chances of psu blowing up unless generic with a high end card or gigabyte, are really low.

steep girder
#

So like 1/3 of my intake I think it is covered up. The shroud either way traps heat. One hope is that somehow it actually acts as heatsink because it's metal. Not sure if there's proper contact for that though.

#

The other thing is that it implicates more than PSU because HDD is also shrouded beside it. It's basically two compartments beside eachother which look like they keep all of their heat at the bottom of case. So HDDs and PSU only get less air circulation. I think I put a second intake fan at front which at least pulls air to drives

velvet marsh
#

don't forget your insulation pads, so your psu doesn't short

steep girder
#

Case didnt come with it though. It only came with one fan installed and shrouds lol. So no air for hdds I guess lmfao. Just radiating psu near it :P

steep girder
velvet marsh
#

It's a joke, they're vibration pads

steep girder
#

Right those are important. HDD bay is necessary for hard drives only specifically because it's only place which out of the box can have anti vibration

#

It's just rubber dampeners around mounting screw holes to that slotin thing

#

Drive is screwed in and rests only on bottom of that carriage is good design

#

But again back in my days it was same hdd bay but not shrouded. Same with PSU

fallow lake
#

I just realized

#

ROG is a pun on the country Asus is based in

steep girder
#

But one way or another, more heat for PSU and HDD is automatically worse for both. It's not theoretical either: HDD bearings literally perform worse the hotter they are. The bearing always wears by design lol. It's just a fact of life. Eventually all bearings die. If they aren't cooled properly, they wear quicker than they would have under lower temps

#

PSU say what you will about it dying but hotter temps in practice mean less efficiency. I think resistance goes up which means it radiates even more heat tbh because of that. So you actually heat PSU up with hotter temps lol. And it uses more power

#

But tl;dr the hdd bay is closed off with option to install your own intake before which there is literally 0 airflow to hdds. Only place you can put them

lucid echo
steep girder
#

And even that one fan you can maximum decide intake or exhaust I guess. One or the other. There is no other possible place for air to go lol. So mine is set to intake always at 100% speed so maybe I create enough positive pressure that it jets out through tiny places somewhere else lol

#

As for removing both shrouds, you can't. At least not intended to by any easy method. They are riveted in. The hdd bay might be held by shroud. So not only do I have to un-nailgun or cut the shroud out. Then I have to reattach the bay to somewhere else lmfao

#

The psu shroud roof is shared with hdd bay's. So removing psu top cover means automatically reattach hdd bay as well lmfao.

#

I have a sata ssd dangling in psu box right in front of modular cable connectors because one sata power connector on that single cable is there and I can reach a data cable

steep girder
#

Literally using one sata power rail 4 drives just because I can't get to the other 3 sata plugs and connect another cable lmfao

#

It seems to work though because it's 3 ssd and 1 hdd. Actually my bad 2 ssd and 1 hdd. 3 drives total using sata power.

keen kernel
#

oh ok

#

thanks for clarifying that before i make and idiot of myself

native crag
#

A star is in ballance against shedding energy from fusion while fighting against gravity. Once the fuel runs out, gravity wins and the star collapses. The inrush is so extreme that the compressive forces heats up the remaining and thus a detonation occurs

keen kernel
#

i thought it was fission because the sun will expand once its out of fuel

steep girder
#

Fusion nuclear energy and weapons is fusion as in at first then followed by fission. You get the energy for whatever still out of nuclear fission in the end. Fusion I don't think we're developing tech that uses anything from it at all. Fusion reactions do usually result in a different decay chain or whatever. It's unique and also way more net energy. You basically fuse atoms or whichever isotopes together by force which more often than not results in a really radioactive nucleus lol. Those tend to want to immediately decay again.

broken folio
native crag
keen kernel
#

oh ok

#

i can wrap my head around reactors but the sun is a bit confusing for me

steep girder
#

But again, it's still way different because of things like the fusion can be two isotopes of helium and tritium or some shite. Tritium is next heavier water hydrogen after deuterium. Two extra neutrons not one. But that's what you're using as fuel I guess. The trick is to heat it up into a mechaplasma so hot and contain it. Then you somehow use the energy it produces by powering the magnetic fields or whatever is holding that plasma pressurized to continue fusing. When you've sustained that indefinitely and there is extra power left over for output, you dun got yourself fusion energy son.

native crag
broken folio
keen kernel
steep girder
# keen kernel i can wrap my head around reactors but the sun is a bit confusing for me

The sun is a fusion reactor but way deep inside. It's simple: stars like even the sun are already so massive that their own gravity produces a force strong enough to overpower all electromagnetic interactions on the outside with the electron shells (where chemical reactions occur) and force them close enough to smash two nuclei of atoms together

native crag
#

It's the mass. Need to keep the plasma contained in the field, and held tightly to maintain the reaction

Basically the force carrier also particles called 'gluons' are the particles which carry the strong force just like photons carry the electromagnetic force. This strong force is what binds the quarks together which compose the protons and neutrons

native crag

Zotac should have five years of warranty. EVGA's warranty and support might be a little harder to get due to their waning GPU division

native crag

Hopefully there's nothing wrong with that 3090 card

#

Is that warranty transferable?

keen kernel

Literally no catch, my friend is extremely new to pc gaming happen to get a 3090 pc. I asked him if i could trade his 3090 for this 3080 and he said sum sure if you need it more

I was like okay bet lol

native crag

Oh man, that's kinda low

I wouldn't take advantage of someone like that

He said he doesnt need the 3090 because hes only playing minecraft and roblox

wispy marsh
native crag

Well, if both of you agree, and he knows he's getting the lesser of the deal, who am I to judge.

But what are you going to say if he wants to play a new game that really could use that 3090. Maybe he might want to raytrace the heck out of Minecraft

Nvidia is being very stingy with the VRAM. That low count is criminal

wispy marsh

They don't care about consumers. Consumers don't buy workstations that come with one to eight $100k chips.

sage pagoda

It's in line tho. The higher up in the series the more VRAM

I thought 40s had shit vram

I agree 1000% with linus. Nvidia needs to split the GPU off to another company. The shareholders will demand AI and will sacrifice the GPU for it

You guys are talking about nihilism as in dismissal of any and all significance at minimum. That's fundamentally it.

#

But already you didn't realize how you're using a preexisting positive logic to express that. In fact 'idgaf' is nothing more than NOT 'igaf' lol.

timid meadow
keen kernel
steep girder
#

Nihilism is literally secondary to a positive thing offered first.

oak kindle
keen kernel
#

which it can and can not be at times

oak kindle

its not expressing a positive, its by definition expressing a negative

keen kernel

its important to see both sides

Yeah exactly what I said.

timid meadow
oak kindle
#

its not a bad thing at all

native crag
#

I mean, who wakes up and says to themselves "Gee, I wish I was a slug intead of a human"?

steep girder

But negative expression is usually defined as that second one. Negative is expressed through a positive.

#

You're not the entirety of existence lol

keen kernel
steep girder
#

They are both symmetrical in the way you said only if you say you believe that 'it doesn't matter which side is negative and positive'

keen kernel
steep girder
#

In other words you have two where one is expressed through the other. You say that the one expressed through the other is identical to... the other expressed through one.

#

What you're doing is expressing an additional loss of order between the two or something

keen kernel
#

on the surface they are like yin and yang but they are more like dr jekyl and mr hyde

#

they cant exist without each other but ones consequences affects the other

#

ig its just personal choice or which extreme you prefer

manic torrent
fallen cedar
#

would it

steep girder
#

Well you're oversimplifying it regardless. There have long been was invented to express things like partially ordered algebras and such

steep girder
#

But still ultimately somehow by even being involved with this here physics means that there already exists some kind of positive logic having occurred

manic torrent
keen kernel
manic torrent
wispy marsh
keen kernel
steep girder
#

Well yes but back when there was just 'everything AKA nothing' it was neither of those. But somehow an additional thing occurred. In reality, clearly an insane amount of things got simply 'counted' into existence.

keen kernel
manic torrent
#

Roll a different universe. Different gravitational constant. Different value of pi. Different Planck length. Any of these constants varying by even a little generally causes complete collapse.

steep girder
#

And those counts themselves were double counted together which I guess looks like complexity now. I literally just expressed a separate count of a count which makes their intrinsic counts lose order with respect to eachother. At least that's how we intuit this.

manic torrent
#

What I'm seeing is a lot of linear thinking applied to non linear concepts

steep girder
#

Right. But instead of focusing on being inside also consider how taking some ranodom portion of our physics for 'no reason' like a part of a rock and some volume of air beside it. It doesn't exist either. You're literally looking at countless combinations of things which don't exist as parallel separate universes. At least there's nothing we can observe about this.

#

So certain physics laws which don't exist and aren't happening

manic torrent
#

Do you mean physical object?

steep girder

manic torrent
steep girder

To be honest even Feynman a long time ago said he doesn't understand either. There are these numbers we use but basically fck if I know what they mean lol. We use them but don't know where they come from or fully understand even what they are.

digital quarry

keen kernel
steep girder

Literally Feynman himself said that. At which point he stopped persuing that train of thought because it's no longer science. He even began expressing subjectively lack of understanding numbers from the same voice he was using to formally express his scientific work. Red flag red flag lol

manic torrent
steep girder
manic torrent
steep girder

Scientific interpretation is an oxymoron. The idea is you don't interpret anything. Interpretation means saying something additional with respect to what it is you're interpreting.

manic torrent

#

5G brainwaves go brrrr

steep girder
#

Significant interpretation you're probably referring to theory. Something is there but there is not yet any observed proof ruling out multiple explanations

manic torrent
#

The set of physics is part of the set of science.

#

Nobody ever did it

steep girder
#

In biology there are a lot of examples like that. One way or another we know life on Earth began. Or even at some point in time there somehow showed up these prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells. They are different. One evolved out of the other perhaps. Officially 'correct' answer. Eukaryotic cells evolved out of Prokaryotic not vice versa. Officially 'correct' answer.

#

But we actually require a theory to explain something. Having said that, there are theories which require less explanation than others. Sometimes it boils down to just pure likelihoods of something happening even 'randomly' with respect to other things. If you can't justify anything beyond that...

manic torrent
#

Thanks for explaining science to me

#

I had no idea.

steep girder
#

Well yeah but the thing about scientifically significant interpretation idk. I'm pretty sure there's no such thing

manic torrent
#

You're pretty sure?

steep girder
#

There should ultimately be a portion which is significant and a remainder which is pure interpretation.

manic torrent
#

I guess fuckin millions.of scientists are totally full of shit, you have the answer right here.

full fossil
#

hello bob, how's ya doing

steep girder
#

I mean perhaps the very thing I was trying to show with the positive logic?

#

Idk. Nobody is wrong for interpreting things so long as it's consistent logically and algebraically.

#

If there's anything signified by science, all the power to them. It's probably the reverse case because you can't dismiss it.

#

But again, at that point I fail to see how it's not just scientific theory.
