You can get a low impedieance headphones that can be drived by the average jack/good cheap usb to aux adapter exist that still end up being cheaper.
You can get mic adapters for most of them and are generally also higher quality then a gaming headset one.

I personally wouldnt care about bluetooth for a headset because the batteries will die very quickly compared to the rest of the headphones

yes. you'd need a screen that not only fits the mounting holes and thickness of the stock display but it also needs the same connector, and even if all those things are met you'd likely lose brightness control

how i thought it would go is that you:
Buy a cheap case with a PSU included
take the motherboard out the laptop
grab a panel of cheap plastic from anywhere, use it for mounting the motherboard.
then get one of those PCIE to mini PCIE adapters.
screw the GPU into the case
wire up the "EGPU" to the PSU
maybe if possible adapt a USB port to the Header on the front of the case.
Cooling? no idea probably just throw on a couple fans at the front and an Eaxhsust on the back and call it a day.

even if i were to make a way to plug the Laptop board into the PSU at max it'd run the CPU at 35 watts. hardly breaking any 450 watt limits when max draw is 167. plus a 60 dollar case with a psu included doesn't sound like a bad deal when your bargain bin PSU is already reaching 5 dollars less
