Ive got a "Crystal UHD" that seems to be a decent in between. Edge lit. Get similar darks in the center of the screen to OLED, you notice the edge lighting a little but not much, especially on a larger screen when your focused on content

I honestly think it doesn't happen as much with phones is because you usually don't have the same image on the screen for a really long time. Usually the phone screen is off or has something changing/moving on it. And now they have anti-burn in things too.

I honestly don't think I'm going to be getting an OLED monitor any time soon, if ever. Alternatives are on the horizon and will likely take over for monitors, and I just hate the idea of burn in on an expensive monitor.
