Again, the AC itself has to be really smart in that you can only determine a yes or no result if whatever is running has exactly a minimum of one that is a cheat. Yup. Hibernating the BIOS is already oblivious to any concept of resuming anything... except for its usual I guess: settings. But reversely, by the time you boot Windows, GPU is already initialized and displaying output:

• It has a video mode set minimally
• It's often different from what you had set in OS these days
• You have to manually do a display mode change and it's always up to the driver programmers to do it lmfao

the video that your seeing from the post screen is just basic vga and not the driver. when the hand off happens and the os grabs the gpu, then the driver tries to take control over it and allow it to do what it needs to do. but sometimes that doesn't happen

yes the OS does it all but when you put your computer into hibernation, your saving the state of the computer as it is and the drivers as well. the GPU will reset itself on power-on and be looking for the first commands that it needs to run with the driver but the driver already ran those commands and won't do it again
