A console is a closed ecosystem and a mass produced All in one product with typically 2-3 differing skus per generation (standard/ pro/ slim). Things work or they don't. There is no messing with software or hardware. A limited non resource hog OS. You get what you get and you can do what Sony or MS allows you to do. Nothing more. It requires almost no tech knowledge to operate. Nearly no setting to change in game.

A PC is a way more open ecosystem with a wide array of configurations. There are million or billions of possible configuration. You can mess with nearly every aspect of the software and hardware. You have nearly unlimited options depending on your tech skills. And you'll need more power to get the same performance as a console due to a wide array of additional background processes.
