If you have a desktop computer and it has a monitor separate from the computer itself, you are really only changing stuff in the monitor

With a laptop, the display stuff is built in alongside everything else

Power delivery to the image panel & backlight all of that stuff is on the logic board typically, which means that you would potentially need to change your capacitors on the board which you’re probably not going to wanna do
