Having the screen settings in the system set to 120hz will result in the max for both screens

The 60hz screen will still only give 60hz though, your 120hz screen be sure that is enabled via the screens physical menu settings as well. I remember getting a 240hz Alienware monitor and couldn't figure out how to change the hz cause I had done it on the pc. Just to find out it was a button on the monitor I was not noticing to make the change

As for cable management however he can ziptie them together to make them not cluttered, will take some trial and error

The crane and the monitors use each other as a counterweight. A hoist/winch changes the distance between them.
