Several of the classes I took in college were first offered to me when I was in high school because my high school had lots of smart ass people, and I was lucky enough to be able to do certain classes in high school then breeze through them in college

the issue is more that the gantry is epoxied in so you cant replace the bearings really and cant replace the gantry itself either

so youre kinda just screwed when they die

So I sent in gpu back to memory express cuz it was overheating when I trier playing witcher 3 and think it was causing my game to crash (had junction Temps of like 95) but memory express said they tested it and didn't see Temps where it would cause game to crash do I just send whole pc for them to test and find out problem

and effectively irreplaceable, is likely a concern in a couple years printer will be dead

so are the bearings in the wheels of my bike.... and they take the load of the bike, me, and road impacts... run at 100's of RPM, and they are cheapo bearings, yet... are fine

those also dont need to allow precise movements

different use cases can have different needs massively

and after 4-5 years, the wheels will be dead from both the bearings dying, and the brake track being worn down to an unsafe level

i race on my bike, so, can tell the difference between a worn bearing and one that is running true... so yes, i can tell you, they do need to allow for precise movement, any wiggle = death. any dragging, probable injury due to stress on your legs

ive had a faulty bearing in the bottom bracket of my bike... the fault was less than 0.03 mm out of round on the bearing... and after about 3 months of usage, it just outright failed and locked up... 0.03mm is a pretty small margin of error for a catastrophic error that could have killed me

so yeah, the cheapness of the bearings makes no difference, as long as they are properly round
