unless you are going high end... like 5900/5950 or 7900/7950 or intel i9's, you probably wont notice the difference between any thermal paste, or even the pre-applied stuff.... if you are going for those stupid high end parts and/or overclocking, the better thermal paste with the higher conductivity, do make that extra difference that you need to push that extra few percent
