I blew up an ESP32 yesterday

I semi recently built a monitor riser platform to control my monitors height using a stepper motor. I integrated this into home assistant with an ESP32 running esphome. I have it working, but have not yet finalised the wiring and sorted it all out to travel the full distance. My wife sometimes uses home assistant to flash the lights in my office if she needs me for some reason. Today, she mis-tapped slightly, and set the monitor riser to 45cm. I saw and hear it going up, and it wasn't stopping - and it could damage things. I pulled out the first thing I could reach/see, which was the control for the stepper motor. It stopped with the monitors a bit up, but still workable. .... Turns out the ESP32 is fried - and I don't have a spare! Moral of the story? Put an interlock on your monitor riser control so your wife doesn't accidentally change it! I'm sure this will apply to many of you. [repost]

the games I play is Roblox and fortnite and when there was a lot for dust the computer fan got loud and some times it got so loud it sounded like a airplane for a couple of seconds than just goes back to loud. And I have been noticing on like fortnite it takes a while to loud in to the match and the FPS goes below 10 and than just goes black turns on fortnite has crashed and something called amd says the driver has timed out something along with the driver. And when I'm on the computer say 20 minutes the computer just lags and I can barely move the mouse. Roblox just lags when I'm like 10 mins in the games than crashes or to the point I can't even play properly. Is what I am going off of.
