I've already made the purchase but wanted to discuss this here now that I have the plan underway (really not the wisest move to start with) but basically my wifi card on my pc is having difficulties with wifi speed no matter where I orientate or place the antennae I'm getting at best 16mbps. So I have ordered an m.2 to pcie network adapter to fit my old dead laptop dual band wifi card hoping this can improve my wifi speeds without too much faff, what's your guys opinions on this plan?

I have run speedtest with a similar model laptop in the same spot as the antennae as the pc and its getting 60mbps where the pc was getting 12mbps at the time

used to do that in my uni dorm to bypass WPA 2 enterprise restrictions on consoles connecting to the network so i could play cod
