If not for the lack of tilt wheel, dual-type scrolling, and wireless though, that G300S is pretty damn close to the G903 functionality for like a sixth of the price. Not bad, Logi.

I paid $140 for my G903. G300S is listed for $25...

Oof. Sensor on the bottom isn't centered on the G300S, though.

Just a few gripes with the G903, though. No place to store the receiver, it still uses micro-B for its charge connector, and this is a small thing, but I'd have liked for some more RGB zones even if I ended up turning them off. RGB on the scroll wheel and mouse rim would be nice.

Feet shape could be better, too. Something simplified and covering a wider area like the Pro X Superlight.

I run the fans and the pump off a curve which is a join (minimum) of a curve of the CPU and GPU.

The side fans which are ventilation join that curve and the chipset curve to make sure case temps don't go crazy

With the LED bulb out there now the only challenge that we had was finding one with the right colour temperature

Some of the higher output LEDs are extremely stark white

And then other ones are way too warm and not appropriate for a entranceway

It’s actually pretty funny because back when we used the incandescent bulbs, we would need to replace the one outside by the entrance approximately twice a year

I replaced the last CF bulb with an LED back in 2017, and it is still in there

The one difficulty I’ve had with LEDs at my girlfriend’s place here was the shower has a light above it, and most LEDs are not designed to sit inside of light pots

So I had to hunt around for ones that are specifically designed to be used in those light pots
