if you open the game, then open task manager, right click the game in the list and click "go to details", it'll highlight the .exe. right click that, and select "set affinity". there, you can check how many threads the game can use. it's good to uncheck thread 0, since Windows uses that one for system functions so it's always busy. you can do for example the last 4 threads to see if the game behaves better @river vector

There is a company marketing "quantum" computers for personal use, but I am pretty skeptical and concerned. Cracking hashes, passwords, etc with Quantum machines takes minutes for things that use to be next to impossible to crack.... so now we are going to need Quantum computers to encrypt our sensitive data
