I use per key RGB keyboards only so that I can color coordinate and remember where my macros are. I've also programmed them to change depending on separate profiles. I have all my macro profiles mapped from 0 - 9 on the keyboard, then I have ctrl + 0-9, alt + 0-9, shift+ 0-9, ctrl + alt 0-9 etc etc.

Most of the heavy lifting was done in C#

Like, objectively Windows is better than Linux. More compatibility, more generalized, easier to use, fully customizable, etc etc.
But, Linux can sometimes do things that Windows just can't do. For example, I had a dying hard drive a few years ago. I needed my files, but Windows no longer recognized anything on the drive.
Linux did. Linux was able to recover ALL my files, even though it took like, 3 days.
Saved my life that day, and I've never not made backups since.

The thing you have to remember, if he charges 35 per hour, and you think that's not a lot of money - that's what makes customers buy his service. You think customers are going to pay someone 60 per hour? 35 is reasonable for both parties.
