Hey everyone, I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to PC building and PC's in general. I came across this dell xps on sale at costco for $999 (USD) and I'm not sure if it's a good deal or not. I was originally planning to wait for the release of the 40 series Nvidia cards and see if I should build or buy a prebuilt with new generation hardware, but now I'm not sure if it's worth waiting. I've seen the price increases on the new generation hardware, so I'm no sure if I will want to wait for the release. I also don't know if the prebuilt would be the better choice compared to a custom build... For some background info, I mostly work on CAD and Rendering projects, and I ocationally play some sim racing games like F1 2022 and Asseto Corsa Competetizione. Can anyone provide some insight? Would appreciate any advice!
