I’ve got a question, what are the chances the USB-C output on an RX 7000 series card can directly drive a 5K Apple Studio Display.

It should work fine. However you will likely need to buy a decent quality USB C to C DP ALT cable, since the thunderbolt 3 cable might not work with the USB C on GPUs, according to the reddit post I saw

You can buy type C to DP dual direction cables, and you can inject power to USB C if it is the SOURCE side, however to my knowledge there are no USB C -> DP cables that allow you to power the sink side. Noting that USB C alt mode is literally displayport - the pins are rerouted.

Full thunderbolt is DP over thunderbolt. USB4 is effectively thunderbolt, but allows slower speeds

I can't find any documentation or engineering pdf for AMI motherboards and I don't know what causes this issue. CPU does get hot, systems fans do spin, but it doesn't ever get into POST

As for the graphics card I did try older cards. At one point it did POST with said older card. It was some random tiny Terascale 2 card.

When i switched to the current RX 580, the screen lit up and was able to boot. I thought finally yay.

Until then it refused to POST after a reboot, like, at all

I tried swapping memories and shit.

It was a 2*16GB Gskill kit
