the 3050 will push casual games at native 4k just fine, most AAA titles with 1080p DLSS'd to 4k with a decent PQ, very solid

Most definitely, I can see your point on the modular laptop, but I still think it's for a niche tech market. People with 3D printers love the modular design and I like the idea you can change it up to what your needs are

my 2013 macbook pro retina 15", with a 16" m1 pro. I'm no stranger to the whole making an expensive, unrepairable laptop last despite it's best efforts (a did a "mythically difficult" midcase replacement! twice! once for a battery, and once for a keyboard, fuck you apple!)
