Now - over 30 minutes per epoch, 5% GPU usage, half the vid mem usage. No reason why...???
Nothing changed at all. Same system, same code, same everything, no restarts either.
It's just dead slow and not being utilized... have to finish some work and report back soon.

create a new partition starting at the same location, same partition type, no formatting, no nothing other than just creating the partition... and have it span what is left of the disk... should see your data return

there are several free different software's that will find and recover the partition for you, no matter how you deleted it

you start out small

CPU motherboard power supply

and the GPU is pretty easy

oh ye RAM as well

RAM in the MB, CPU in the MB, PSU into the MB. put the cooler on top and then try booting

if it works you can move onto the next step

if it doesnt you have 4 possible problem children

typically its very easy to tell if a PSU works

so thats thrown out.

m.2 you just need a small screwdriver

RAM you just need hands

CPU you just need hands as well

then you mount the cooler.

then you get the PSU out

plug the CPU power cables or EPS 12V cables into the top left.
