I like it because I have a magsafe charging mount for my iPhone at my desk, and it stays mounted on there while I WFH. If it fully charged in 30 mins then I would be pegging it at 100% charge all day which is well-established as bad practice for batteries. Slow charge means it can stay on longer before I need to turn off the charger (on a smart switch)

The only reason I would have to use 5G is busy locations, for example when I was at an Ed Sheeran concert with 70k people

Most hosting services use MTU 1480

And most ISPs use pppoe

Jumbo frames are 6000 bytes in length

This basically means your upstream has to split your packet in 5 parts

Which many isps don't really like and will likely just drop the packets
