You need to audit the code yourself. There really is no easy way to know. RATs can menifest in many different ways. The easiest way to sniff a rat is probably finding the remote access code, aka a routine that connects to something on the web for instructions. Of course there's AV scanners you can run it through but that doesn't guarantee anything.
