The one I am looking at is also slightly larger capacity than the current one that she has. 1.5 L versus 1.7 L for the new one

That might not sound like much but sometimes I like to pour the boiling water over the infuser by itself to sanitise it because it does not get washed the way a dish or silverware gets washed

Every once in a while I will scrub it with a dedicated toothbrush used for just cleaning the infusers and some baking soda but then I always sanitise it with the boiling water afterwards

We use them so often even without leaving them in the water for too long they are all tea stained

So every now and again I give them a good scrub

I am falling asleep and rambling my apologies

I was trying to heat something up to eat and the heating instructions were not correct so that’s why I started talking about this and that’s why it led to talking about tea and kettles

I should try to eat something and go to sleep

On second thought a smart kettle controlled by an app might be pretty cool especially if you tied it into like a bathroom scale and your refrigerator and you could maybe have an interface with your grocery ordering apps or something.
