I have three laptops from the past few years, one's a thin & light, with weaker specs than the other two though.

The thin & light has a 1660 TI and a 9750H

The Nitro 5 was from when I was first toying with the idea of laptop gaming so I only spent $600 and got an RX 560X and Ryzen 5 2500U with 8GB DDR4 at 2400MHz, not great for gaming anymore or even really at the time, but it's great for tinkering and stuff

My Victus has a 3050Ti and i7-12650H with 16GB DDR4, I went with it instead of an MSI model because it cost the same amount as buying the MSI and upgrading the RAM, plus a marginally better GPU. I was wary of buying a 3050Ti but it's done very well and if I need something more powerful I'll just build a desktop

Come to find out MSI models are plagued with issues and I may have accidentally dodged a bullet

not if its based on 2200 thats for sure. tensor 1 was based on 2100 so its done quite well
2200 have notorious heating/isp issues

its technically a skinned snapdragon 8 gen 1

2100: 1x 2.9 GHz – Cortex-X1, 3x 2.8 GHz – Cortex-A78, 4x 2.2 GHz – Cortex-A55
Tensor: 2x 2.8 GHz – Cortex-X1, 2x 2.25 GHz – Cortex-A76, 4x 1.8 GHz – Cortex-A55

a standard 1/3/4 on 2100

tensor has the weird 2/2/4, with older A76 cores

Not sure what Tensor 2 will use

The GPU in 2100 is 14-cores too, while Tensor is 20

what i meant by based is how its built and what foundry it runs instead of its core config
most of the things in 2100 are copied to tensor and google does design some part themselves
