While most of their stuff is pretty open (IIRC, the Soviets got a lot of info on the Shuttle for their Buran because NASA openly published a lot of the shuttle's specs), they've always launched secret, clandestine, or misleading payloads. The case is beat to hell to the point it's lost both side panels and all the unoccupied 5.25" bay covers (it's that old), and the two optical drives that are installed aren't plugged into anything because they don't work. At some point the power supply died, so I just kinda wedged a second power supply I found in a dumpster PC on top of it rather than replace it properly, but I suspect the dumpster supply is causing some instability issues.

There are a myriad of hard disks in the system, only some of which are installed properly, and only some of which are plugged in.
