guys, im desperate for help so im just gonna send it here , just once. i've been experiencing this Distortion effect on my computer (only in videos) it glitches out, sometimes it bugs my whole screen showing my tab list on chrome on the whole screen, it's like getting hacked in movies. where a lot of tabs open and such, but it's a visual. the colors are off-grid , does anyone know how to fix this? please?

Try screen recording as well, if the recording plays back normal and it was recorded during the glitching then that will isolate the drivers and tell you it's cable or monitor

I had a laptop once that did what your talking about, fixed itself after restart, gradually it would happen 2 minutes after restart, ended up getting it replaced under warranty because the GPU died on the processor and it was cheaper for the company to give me a replacement

here's a repair story I have. I bought this 1500 gaming laptop in feb. It immediately made weird stuff. It randomly black screens (even while actively using) and once the taskbar is huge. I was certain it was faulty hardware. I went to the shop and back several times before going to asus. Asus stress tested everything from the cpu to gpu to ram and found nothing wrong. It was now april, and I finally found why its like this: A driver issue. So this laptop has a radeon igpu and an RTX 3050ti and the drivers of both were fighting for control over the system. Welp, it only took 2 months

I used to make my own cooling pads. Just 3 layers of tissue soaked in cool water. Actually worked but some water did enter. Probably wasn't a good idea for my old laptop
