#I need help with PZB

I think you released it when it was not safe to release
There are some great guides made by members of the community, ask around in #tsw-german-dlc ?
IMO pzb is the hardest safety system
PDF guide can be downloaded from https://www.ttg4.paintbrushguy.xyz/ssg
This is a video guide for the following safety systems:
-AWS (All British routes except Bakerloo line, Trans-Pennine, both Isle of Wights and Spirit of Steam)
-TVM (LGV Med and Southeastern Highspeed)
-KVB (same as TVM)
ETCS (Luzerne - Sursee)
PZB (All German routes)
LZB (M...
Ignore that it's for TSW3, it's the same in all games
Hmm that’s strange. You were below 25kmh the whole time so you can’t have been braked by restrictive monitoring (and the indicators did not show that anyway). You did acknowledge the signal, a bit late but it’s still registered as you acknowledging it. It also braked you after you passed the magnet as if you exceeded the monitoring speed which is just not true. Might be a bug. Never had this happen to me here on this route
Did you just escape from the flashing 75 85? You are only allowed to escape if you are not expected to be monitored for the next 550 meters, even if you stay under 40 km/h. If you escape anyway, you will be forced to stop
They weren’t restricted, it was a solid 85
The reason why emergency brakes applied is because you did not acknowledge PZB 1000Hz magnet in time.
You might be asking, why, I pressed the PZB acknowledge??????
Pushing the lever does not fully acknowledge PZB 1kHz magnet, you need to also let go of it in time.
PZB safety system gives you exactly 3 seconds on the dot to push the PZB acknowledge lever and let go.
Same rule applies in all of German trains and locos.
My biggest piece of advice for You, is to push the PZB acknowledge lever right before the signal, before you drive over the 1000 Hz magnet, this gives you time to let go after one second of pushing it, fully acknowledging it

You can see what I mean in this video, it should start at 52 minutes and 10 seconds, PZB gets fully acknowledged once this train driver lets go.
I may be also severely wrong about this so correct me if so thank you

What do you think then
its very easy once you understand it
you cannot release PZB when there is a danger signal, or the yellow aspect showing you that the next signal red
when the red PZB light comes on it means you need to stay under 25 cuz youre very close to a red signal
when you press wachsam and you go over 85, there is a certain distance till you’re emergency braked
so slow down
oh
hmmm
there is really no hardest safety system in TSW
in real life for me it would be japanese ATS/ATC systems
but only some
So doesn’t that mean pzb is hardest in tsw?
no
