found out what BTET is - block to electric traction
thought I hadn't seen it before and that's probably why
interesting

can't see when i'd ever use it but
Just when it was peace and quiet
can't see how you get around that without turning trains around
I can just guide them through
SPAD approval and move on
cause it aint on points thankfulyl
unlucky train that is
and even if it was a point failure it depends on how they are set i guess, get the first train to check and if they're fine then get other trains to go with caution
oh i just literally sent my first train thru with a spad approval
woopsy

just the painful task of Re-interposing

Cleared of your last train incident? Good, here's two more at the same station
oh fun
sounds about right
someone didn't do the next-day TT properly lol
i guess because its meant to run the next day its taken the time as earlier that day
yup
so now the down fast out of peterborough is blocked for about half an hour... fun
and now i have issues: 5P62 needs to use the down fast to reverse (like 5P60 in the other image) but because of the track circuit failure i cant get the points to change
and i dont know what im meant to do as it needs to go left
i dont know where to reverse it or get it onto the ECML
going past the shunt signal with LOS doesnt work
so random... goes US>UF>Down Bramley>Up Bramley
I'd start 1P62 at P4 see if you can route it from D>U where the LOS signal is
test it first obviously before changing the TT
gave up eventually and loaded a snapshot but will try this at some point
busy bram
why and how are geese calling
7O12 running w/ loss of power holding up the salisbury line
sounds fun
Full house at BSK

sick

anybody wanna play multiplayer? no vc
o dear
I did and I ended up writing some 1ZXX diagrams
what's port talbot like for one person? looks doable but not with a particularly busy timetable
update: perfectly fine at 5am
first time playing piccadilly and ive had the slow into the station effectively taken out of use by 3 TCFs from one train
Least they’re not points failures
true
oh ok
one slight delay and apparently everything decides to die which is fun
Rip
one has just taken out platform 2 and caused minor chaos
would not want to use that toilet once the driver is done with it
fucking hell 😭
I'm so generous
they arrested a network rail driver
or someone tried to hijack it
i keep doing stafford simsig and then leaving because theres too many trains
also do that with brighton
last time I played
chained with Wimbledon Woking and Basingstoke
context: 1P are Portsmouth via mainline
2H46 is shepperton via Kingston
what a terrible signaller you are
EXCUSE me I was on Feltham strawberry hill/Twickenham it was not my fault that Wimbledon forgot how to signal
LTS
Leyland Saltings [LTS]?
I been thinking of getting Marylebone purely as it’s my local line. Would yall recommend it?
FUCK.
well done you PILLOCK
sybau
no
After techies finally fixed it, just running straight fast to Gatwick or Victoria, not my area or my problem
Can’t you still signal the Lewes line?
How tf
TCF parkside junction, 3C91 needed to travel via Parkside-Lowton-Golborne to Wigan, so couldnt move. Blocked everything for an hour and a half ❤️
I take it irl they would prolly use the crossover if there is one and wrong rail it
Either way sounds chaos
the nearest crossover from the MCR end wouldve been eccles east junction which is 11 miles away from parkside jnc
I’d love to do a proper simsig session and link up with others and stuff but I use a mobile hotspot as a connection for the PC at the moment so it’s not possible for me to host. I can still chain up with others though.
Oh god yh nvm then
im not doing 11 miles of wrong line running on the chat moss
Could’ve canceled a load of services and maybe sent them back starting with 2F15? But I’m not sure.
Too much effort
Fairs
had a points failure so hopped into making a service out of the limited trains i had
if anyone wants to rate
my rushed timetabling making
better than whatever nonsense GWR/TfW did on saturday which is definitely not my next timetable(s) to release
does seem like it could happen in reality
presumably 2L72 irl would be diverted
assuming its a cross city line train itd probably be terminated in new st
last trains
now completed and uploaded, both planned and actual versions
also a version for the june 2025 WTT
I'm so good at this game that I've gridlocked myself
what is this game
SimSig as the title of the thread suggests
liverpool street, mid rush hour with 3 track circuit failures
i always take the realistic option and route trains around them if i can instead of sending them thru it (its effort as well typing the headcode in 5 times)
later on in the sim a track circuit failure happened on a junction on the WAML platforms and a train that was due in at 21:19 got in at 01:43
going to try pbo w/ disruption tomorrow, try out the kings cross panel (god help me cuz it doesnt have ars) or exeter
