I don't always like fictive myself, I don't really enjoy those of Diesel Railcar Sim for example, but Train Crew

every game is gonna have a "niche" or a "gimmick" . we players want 100% realism in every game. But then every sim would be prettty much the same. Then theres "sims" that arent full sims but get crapped on cause of the SIM label and everyone wont get it if it doesnt say SIM. This is a factor that devs and publishers have to factor. Theres plenty of driving games that are actually good and fun but because they arent full sims, they get crapped on. Even if everything but the Map is legit, theres an issue. If anything a fictional map allows you to truly run the company as you want and not as its IRL counterpart does. You can also make it that your RL agency started running on the fictional map. Or do what i do...XBay everywhere! LOL

with euro prices if you want to "upgrade" from bus standard to bus deluxe it's actually 1€ cheaper to just buy the entire deluxe edition than it is to get the individual DLC

ultimately like, I think I prefer this for the future of the game, because TramSim curiously suffered from a lack of monetisation
in a niche market
it costs more right now to get into the game than TramSim used to, but I think that thus far it is working a fair bit better than TramSim has financially
