TFDi version seems very good

Only issue is apparently they were doing exclusive airframes for first 1000 preorders long ago, the ER version. I was just told that in another server. I guess it's not too bad, there were barely any built, but still it's not really a nice move to lock a plane like that. Doesn't make the MD-11 any worse, just changed my opinion of TFDi overall a bit

this is what ive been dealing with the past 2 days

it does that until it crashes basically, deleting the .fspackage files that its getting stuck on does nothing

though when it does crash, it seems like it saves its progress, because restarting the download after starts it from a lower overall size

it always seems to happen around 36% specifically though, regardless of the package being downloaded

it literally DELETES the file too when it does that, its not a display error or something

I've only done 1 flight, and it seems nice.

I like to hand fly it, although some times it feels like it "jumps" for some reason, still haven't fully understood the systems and FMS but they feel fairly intuitive, I could do a lot of things without any sort of tutorial or documentation.

Landing wasn't nearly as bad as I expected, and it followed a complicated RNAV approach very well.

VOR landings are kinda rare. And you'd only do them in much smaller planes. 99.99% of your 777 flights will be ILS or GLS

I like the MD-11 they have made but I would much more appropriate it if they continue to work on it instead of leaving it from here. A lot of people want better textures and sounds. In fact the sound and lighting of this plane is awful. The damn GPU sounds are in the centre of the plane. It just needs some fine tuning to be worth £60

A lot is under the floor in the electrical compartment but some is behind the overhead

At lower speeds it does still turn the nose wheel and if there is a crosswind bad enough to push you off centre before you get up to a speed where the rudder can help then that runway shouldn’t be in use

Apparently airbus usually uses the tiller all the way up to 100kts, with pressure down on the stick to keep the front wheel in contact with the runway

Well, you can’t re-engage LNAV because there are still waypoints remaining and you’re not on an intercept heading and course for them

And you could’ve done a real goaround which VNAV/LNAV would take you through if you pushed TO/GA I think

Well, if you wanted to still land it on that attempt, yeah. But if you decided to abort the landing, it’d help. You already have a goaround path programmed in the FMC, which would take you to a hold point nearby and give you time to prepare for another attempt without worrying about hand-flying the aircraft
